Michael Shewmaker - Sculpture

Leviatano - Italian for Leviathan - continues my series on Chi. Towering at over 15 feet in height this piece commands attention. Sometimes I see muscle and sinew beneath its steely surface. This is a sand blasted finish that makes an interesting comparison to my polished pieces. Identical material that offers quite a different feel when finished this way.
